Veterans United Home Loans is an amazing company to assist Veterans like myself in this home buying process. My husband and I have been told that we will not be in a position to purchase a home for a long time by several other home loan programs. We were so discouraged and thought that we will have to rent homes forever. The first time I had contact with Shannon in the Lighthouse Program, I felt a sense of support immediately. Shannon was able to assist us in creating a plan over a 12 month period to move us towards home ownership. Once we were in a position to qualify for a loan, Shannon immediately connected us to a local office to start the process of buying a home. We were able to secure a preapproval in about 2 weeks. Rebekah Emerick was able to assist us in purchasing our first home in about a 60 day time period. As easy as it gets
This is my second home I’ve bought with veterans united and my team was great. I had issues with the well inspection. It was extremely frustrating and they knew I have PTSD and they were extremely sensitive to my emotions and kept me focused.
The loan process went incredibly fast. Veterans United was able to do what other banks couldn't do for different buyers.

This last time was not at all a Streamline.Refinance. it took six or seven weeks instead of the usual two or three with no explanation. We kept having to esign documents that had inaccurate numbers for absolutely no reason. This type of transaction should not have cost me over $11K. I was very disappointed this time but will give them another chance in the future because of the past treatment, and they also have taken great care of my daughter, who is in the coast.Guard. Definitely recommend.

Elizabeth and her team lessened the stress of the loan process. The team worked in unison which resulted in a flawless result and so much easier than what I had initially anticipated.
