My experience with veterans united was great and easy. My only problem with this process was the real estate agent veterans united provided. I would definitely NOT recommend using Kia from 1st class real estate RVA. Me and my wife felt the communication was extremely slow and there were points in the closing process when we had to reach out to the seller/listing agent to ensure we had documents needed to close. It seemed like doing her job was bothersome. But other than that, the loan team, the concierge, and every other member in the process was very professional and helpful.
Working with Brice at Veterans United was an absolute blessing. As a first-time homebuyer navigating this journey on my own after divorce, I was honestly nervous about the process—but Brice made everything feel manageable and even exciting. We’ve used VU twice and a smaller lender once for our three total times we’ve purchased a home using the VA Loan. Will highly recommend them over and over as we haven’t seen many other lenders top their customer service and support throughout the process. We always feel informed and like we’re part of the entire process during each step, whereas other lenders keep to themselves while working on things behind the scenes. Grateful for VU and will always recommend them for VA Loans.
