They are highly capable and will guide you effectively through the process.However, a crucial point often missed by first-time homebuyers is that despite their name, the company is not military-owned or officially affiliated with the military. While many employees come from military families or contractor backgrounds and understand the lifestyle, it's strictly a for-profit business.My overall experience was positive, and they helped me achieve my goal. The main takeaway for anyone considering them is to shop around for better rates before committing.

We’ve used VU twice and a smaller lender once for our three total times we’ve purchased a home using the VA Loan. Will highly recommend them over and over as we haven’t seen many other lenders top their customer service and support throughout the process. We always feel informed and like we’re part of the entire process during each step, whereas other lenders keep to themselves while working on things behind the scenes. Grateful for VU and will always recommend them for VA Loans.
Veterans United saw me as a person. I was more to them than numbers on a screen. Being able to explain your imperfections and having them be truly understood, is something that is missing in many places today. But not at Veterans United!

I've never had a VA loan go so smoothly and I've had about 4 of them. The loan officers were extremely helpful in guiding me to finding the right documents and were very quick to respond to my questions. They did a great job!
