I have bought 8 personal homes and never had one close so quickly (3 weeks start to finish - bid to closing!) and so smoothly.

We were in dire straights, our home had mold and I am disabled from Iraq. We turned to an internet search and we found Veteran's United. We went from a hotel to air bnb, but the team was there with us throughout the wait. Their kind words kept me sane, and my mind at ease. They never said we can't or anything negative to us. Sometimes I thought they were Superheroes. I will sing their praises, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to all my Veteran friends, and once again for me and my wife Katrina, and daughter Peyton thanks for our GREAT home and new lease on life. Third time I have worked with Veterans United and still have no complaints. Outstanding job every time!

I worked with several teams during our search for our new home. Each team was very knowledgeable and helped ease the anxiety associated with such a large decision. Chase Lyles was super patient and tremendously helpful. Thank you for putting up with our indecisiveness the past few years. May the Lord bless you richly.

Of the five closings I’ve been involved in, Matt’s team was by far the most efficient and professional. Closed in eight business days!

This was my 2nd experience working with VU and all I can say is wow. My loan team did such an amazing job from start to finish.

Experience first-hand why 355,718 homeowners give us a perfect score!
So patient, and willing to be personable.

The entire team at Veterans United that we worked with were absolutely incredible. Michael Peters was there for us every step of the process making it easy and less stressful. We will tell everyone about Veterans United.

Process was super easy! Veterans United is a great company to help with mortgages and refi’s.

Ginny was amazing and quick to get us to closing. We appreciate her so much!

I don’t doubt that my case was a rough one but it took months to close, the VA was not easy to get ahold of. Any time I tried to ask to speak to the person handling my case I was told to file a receipt and that someone would look at it. The communication was terrible. I do not feel like they cared about us it was just another case to the company. No individual communication. I even had to go out of my way to contact people the VA should’ve been talking to because it was weeks with no progress. And sure enough all it took was a phone call to figure out what the issue was. Even after that they seemed to not care about the time and energy it’s been taking my wife and I. Over all very terrible experience. Again, I could’ve been an outlier.

I highly recommend Veterans United. Having dealt with other mortgage lenders I can tell you they are the most knowledgeable when it comes to the VA Loan process. Even if you have undesirable credit; they have a team that coaches you on how to build it back up. You never have to worry about being embarrassed because there is no judgement. They really there to help. Although there is a lot of running around and document requirements in the beginning, I can assure you it is for a good reason. They are very thorough therefor making sure there are no surprises when it comes to closing.

The whole team at Veterans United were absolutely amazing i would recommend any of them in a second this was a great experience for as I was very nervous about making this major purchases they made it so much easier

Our experience was not what we had hoped for. Our loan officer was great though and did what he could to keep us in the loop and explain why it took so much longer than it should have. Disappointed in the process but glad its done.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Matthew,
Thank you for sharing this. I’m glad to hear your loan officer helped keep things moving and made sure you were in the loop, but I’m sorry the process as a whole didn’t feel smoother for you. When things take longer than expected, it can take away from what should be an exciting moment, and I hate that this left you feeling disappointed even though you’re relieved to have it behind you.
If you’d be open to it, I’d like to take a closer look at your experience so I can understand what caused the delays and make sure your concerns are fully heard. You can reach me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. My team is here from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, and we’ll get back to you the next business day if you reach out after hours.
Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager
