As first time home owners it would have been more helpful for the team to explain how the process works. When they need information they should explain, why, how they need the info and when. It seems some team members were unorganized, a simple checklist may have helped. I am aware that most things are different depending on the people and their situations. I did not like the how we were first approved for one loan and then another, we were already attached to the home and in the process and so we drained our savings.
In today's market of home buying the process can be stringent and overwhelming. As a woman of color you often read of the horror stories of the home buying process for people of color.
