Veteran's United was wonderful. We were planning to get financing from a bank that my husband has done business with for 25 years.The first red flag was when this other bank charged us $40 for a credit check! Due to the availability of on-base housing and barracks living, young Veterans oftentimes have limited experience when it comes to buying a home.
