The team at Veterans United assisted me through the entire process with quick responses to my frequent questions. Their site is very user friendly and provided user friendly tools to prepare my documents. The VU team is caring and friendly.
When through the lighthouse program which was fast keeping informed constantly and resolved the issues quickly. I can not say enough about our loan officer Ashley she was great informative , professional curious and very personable. Its great as a veteran to know Veterans United really cares about us. We've always had great experiences with VU. They kept us apprised of the financial commitment we were embarking on...I've highly recommended them to acquaintances, friends and family!
I checked yes here, but would rather check maybe. I would recommend it for someone that wants a very hands off experience. I had questions about the paperwork and requested to speak with someone face to face so they could explain what I was looking at. I was told paperwork would be explained to me at closing. Then at closing, no one came. I was left alone with the people at the title company. I had someone outside of the company explain to me what I was looking at. So, to that effect, I might recommend or I might not.
Jarrod, we appreciate your honest review. There are many items we are best equipped to explain to Veterans as a lender. There are also items requested by the title company that are best explained by the title company directly.
