I checked yes here, but would rather check maybe. I would recommend it for someone that wants a very hands off experience. I had questions about the paperwork and requested to speak with someone face to face so they could explain what I was looking at. I was told paperwork would be explained to me at closing. Then at closing, no one came. I was left alone with the people at the title company. I had someone outside of the company explain to me what I was looking at. So, to that effect, I might recommend or I might not.
Response from Veterans United
Jarrod, we appreciate your honest review. There are many items we are best equipped to explain to Veterans as a lender. There are also items requested by the title company that are best explained by the title company directly. We're glad that all the information was explained to you before completing the purchase of you new home. Our Client Advocate team remains available to assist you with any future concerns as well.
My experience was a very pleasant one. The professional staff at Veterans United were very informative not to mention very professional. They were very prompt in returning my calls and answering any questions regarding the service of my loan. The whole process was completed in a quick and timely manner.
Ashley Brown was phenomenal. I could not be more satisfied with her expertise, experience, communication, and explanations throughout the process. This was my third home purchase but she taught me so much and I felt extraordinarily confident navigating the process with her. This was a challenging purchase in many regards but she kept me at ease through the entire process. I am convinced that no other lender would have assisted me as deftly or confidently as Ashley did. Thank you all so much—including Kala Booth and Renee Young who also did work for me as well. I will be returning to you guys in the future!
